Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

The BoxArbor mobile application (the “App”) is provided by BoxArbor International Limited (“BoxArbor,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This policy applies to the App and related privacy inquiries. It does not cover independent services or websites you may separately visit.

2. Information the App uses

The App is designed to control compatible display devices through a Bluetooth connection. Depending on which functions you use, it may access or process the following information:

No account is needed. The App does not require a name, email address, or password to connect to BoxArbor hardware. We do not use in-app advertising or third-party advertising or analytics SDKs as part of the described Bluetooth-control service. We do not sell your personal information.

3. How we use information

• Discover and identify nearby compatible BoxArbor devices.
• Establish Bluetooth connections and send the commands you choose.
• Remember locally saved device arrangements and settings, where supported.
• Respond to support, privacy, or other inquiries that you send us.
• Maintain the security and integrity of our communications and meet applicable legal obligations.

4. Permissions and Bluetooth access

The App requests Bluetooth-related permissions as needed to find, connect to, and control compatible products. On Android, the permission wording varies by operating-system version and may include Nearby devices or permissions associated with Bluetooth scanning. On certain older Android versions, Bluetooth discovery may require a location-related permission under the operating system's rules.

The Bluetooth-control functionality is not designed to determine your physical movements or track your GPS location. You can deny or revoke permissions in your device settings, but doing so may prevent device discovery or control. If we introduce features that require additional permissions or different data practices, we will provide the relevant explanation and update this policy as appropriate.

5. Transmission, sharing, and service providers

For its core functions, the App communicates directly with compatible BoxArbor hardware over Bluetooth and does not require a BoxArbor cloud account. Under the App architecture described in this policy, device identifiers and display-control settings are not uploaded by BoxArbor to an account server for advertising or profiling.

When you voluntarily email us, your email and its contents are delivered through our business email service provider, Alibaba Mail (阿里邮箱), and accessed by authorized BoxArbor personnel for the purpose of responding. We may disclose information when required by applicable law or to protect legitimate rights. We do not sell personal information or share it with advertising networks for behavioral targeting.

6. Storage, retention, and deletion

Bluetooth discovery information is used for discovery and connection. Where you save compatible devices or preferences, relevant settings may remain in the App's local storage until you clear the App's data or uninstall it, subject to the behavior of your operating system and any backups. Uninstalling the App does not necessarily erase settings separately stored on the BoxArbor hardware; those may need to be reset on the device.

If you contact us, we retain the correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary to address the inquiry, manage related records, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable law, then delete or anonymize it as appropriate. You may request deletion of information that we hold by emailing [email protected], subject to any lawful retention requirements.

7. Security

We use reasonable organizational and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, including limiting access to privacy correspondence to authorized personnel. Your phone's security settings and Bluetooth permissions also affect the protection of locally held information. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

You may disable Bluetooth access through your operating-system settings, stop using the App, and delete local App data using the controls provided by your device. Where applicable law provides rights to access, correct, delete, or otherwise control personal information we hold, you may submit a request using the email below. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.

9. Children

The App is a companion utility for collectible display products and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can review and address the situation.

10. International users

BoxArbor products and the App may be used in different countries. Local Bluetooth device-control information is processed on the user's device and compatible display hardware. If you email us, your correspondence may be accessed or processed in countries other than your country of residence through our business operations and email service provider, subject to applicable law.

11. Changes to this policy

If our App functions, data practices, or legal obligations change, we will revise this page and update the “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or seek consent before materially different processing begins.
